Bach and Campground

Staying on Motuora is a delight. There is a small campsite and a bach (cottage) near the beach but remember, access is by boat only and there is no wharf (see Come & Visit).
Bookings for both the campground and bach are essential.

PLEASE NOTE:  The booking system for Accommodation on Motuora has changed to a DoC operated electronic system

The bach and campground are no longer Managed by the Motuora Restoration Society.

PLEASE NOTE THERE ARE NO EFTPOS FACILITIES ON THE ISLAND SO PLEASE PAY BY CHEQUE OR INTERNET BANKING PRIOR TO VISIT.

Please keep in mind that is not easy for the Island Managers to deal with cash and cheque payments on Motuora so please pay before visit if possible.

Generator power.
